Hey there! My name is Lin Frazer, and I am very excited to be your Campbell Hall President for the 2017-2018 year. I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia, but it wasn’t too long before I was calling Sackville, New Brunswick my second home. I am studying International Relations and Geography here at Mount Allison, and I absolutely love it. My room number is 242, so come on down for a chat and some good laughs – I love to hangout! My favourite pastimes include meeting new people and making new friends, going for walks in the Sackville Waterfowl Park, skating on the Swan Pond during the winter time, wearing the Gecko suit (Did you know our house mascot is a gecko?! Now you do), and being a part of Campbell Hall’s legendary lip-sync battles. My favourite thing about living in residence is the feeling of community. In Campbell, we are one big family, and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
If you have any questions about residence life, university, etc., please do not hesitate to get in touch with me! My e-mail is: [email protected] My Instagram is: @linfrazer2 Or you can find me on Facebook A few fun facts about me! Favourite meal hall food: Second semester oranges (I eat 3 a day at least) Favourite off-campus meal: Guacamole Burger & Fries @ Mel’s Tearoom Favourite study spot: All over the RP Bell library!!! (Depending on how I am feeling) Favourite Campbell Hall event: Wampbell Cup (A hockey game between Campbell Hall and Windsor Hall) The Campbell Hall House Executive team is responsible for creating fun and inclusive events for the residents of this house as well as creating a sense of community within the house. We work very closely alongside the Resident Assistant (RA) team to ensure a safe and comfortable transition into residence life and University. We are all really looking forward to ensuring that you have a great 2017-2018 year, and we can’t wait to meet you! See you in September! Laura Scaravelli

Hi my name is Risha Minocha-Mckenney, and I am a second year student here at Mount A studying Chemistry. I will be living in room 114 next year in Campbell hall. I love flying, singing, learning new languages, public speaking, cooking, baking, and all genres of music. I am so excited to get to meet you all! Kate Robotham2nd Floor Residence Assistant
Hey geckos! I’m Kate Robotham, and I’ll be one of your second floor RAs. I’m a second year student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, not yet committed to any majors or minors but I’m interested in the Social Sciences. I’m from Ottawa, but I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Sackville. My advice for new students is to explore — take classes you might find interesting even if they have nothing to do with your major, join clubs and societies, cheer for Mount A during sporting events, see plays and musicals, join the student paper or start your own radio show — there are so many opportunities available to you, and the next years are going to be what you make them. There are so many ways to get involved on campus, you’re sure to find something right for you. The transition to university is tough, but we’re here to help make it your year go as smoothly as possible so if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at [email protected] or drop by room 211. See you in September! |
Sydney Orr3rd Floor Residence Assistant
Hello GECKOS, My name is Sydney Orr, and I am a second year hoping to major in International Relations, while minoring in Geography and French. I am from Stratford, Ontario (Yes, Justin Bieber’s hometown), and I am SO excited to be one of your third-floor R.A’s. Whether you are coming from a nearby city, across the country, or internationally, I can guarantee you that there is a place in Campbell hall for you to call home. It is a residence that has encouraged me to be involved, helped me become comfortable in a new province, and given me a whole bunch of best friends. My advice to you is to not be deceived by those people who automatically met all their best friends on the first day. It took me two months to settle in and I promise you, you will find your group of people. Put yourself out there because like-minded people gravitate towards each other. OH, and never do your laundry on a Sunday night. I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you. Do not be afraid to say hello, my door (Room 336) will always be open. Emma Kruisselbrink4th Floor Residence Assistant
Hi Campbell Hall! I’m Emma Kruisselbrink and I’m one of your 4th floor RAs. I’m a second year student from Wolfville, Nova Scotia (yes, I did not go to Acadia), and I’m taking a BSc with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. On campus, I am involved in Best Buddies and the Psychology Society. Some of my favourite places in Sackville are the Waterfowl Park and Jack’s Pizza. You can catch me up in room 419 watching Netflix or possibly studying. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message on Facebook or email me at [email protected], can’t wait to meet you all! |
Matthew Hovey3rd Floor Residence Assistant
Hello! Welcome to Campbell hall! My name is Matthew Hovey, and I a second year student at Mount A. I am studying Commerce, and I will be living in room 309 next year. Some things about me are that I love music, talking with people, and really anything dog related. My favourite animal is without a doubt my Bernese Mountain dog, Molly, who is the love of my life. I’m really excited for the upcoming year, and I hope you all are too!! Feel free to shoot me an email about any school/residence related questions at [email protected] and I will be sure to respond! Jillian Bishop4th Floor Residence Assistant
Hey my name is Jillian Bishop and I'm so excited to be one of your 4th floor RA's next year! I am from Quispamsis, New Brunswick, and I love to play volleyball, swim, play cards/board games and spend time with friends and family. I am taking a Bachelor of Science, major in Biology and plan on going to Dental School after my undergraduate degree. I am involved with Global Brigades as part of the Medical/Dental Brigade and volunteer with Relay for Life. The best advice I can give you is to get involved in at least one club or society and make sure to manage your stress levels before they get too high! Transitioning to university isn't always easy, but Campbell Hall will become your second home! You will make some of your greatest memories and meet some of your best friends here. Feel free to send me an email at [email protected] if you have any questions, or just to say hey! Don't hesitate to knock on my door (room 436) anytime throughout the year, can't wait to see you soon! |
